The Company:
Our client is a Global Engineering & Construction (E&C) Group inside which you’ll find an incredible range of expertise and opportunity.

The Role:
We are currently looking for a professional with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our clients performance on projects across the full life cycle, from studies and FEED to EPC, to ensure our client continues to differentiate itself from its competitors by delivering quality projects to their client’s requirements in the upstream oil and gas, midstream, LNG, refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and power industries.

Responsibilities
•Reporting to the Group Manager, Environment and Sustainability, you will join a team of HSE professionals delivering environmental and sustainability requirements to multi-disciplinary projects
•Required to manage Environment and Sustainability requirements to ensure the delivery of high quality technical solutions to our clients, meeting project milestones
•Expectation that you will be the project focal point to manage environmental and sustainability issues and will either work as a sole environmental professional on the project, or as part of a larger team
•Prepare and provide input to proposals and tenders to potential clients as directed by the Group Manager, Environment and Sustainability
•Involved the supervision and mentorship of junior staff, and to promote compliance with Foster Wheeler’s HSE system
•Lead, coordinate and motivate small teams, plan work and provide clear technical direction
•Managing permitting for industrial projects, with the ability to work across multiple business sectors
•Managing projects and staff, plus direct liaison with clients / regulators

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•A degree in a relevant discipline is essential, while it is also beneficial to have one or more of the following: postgraduate qualifications, Chartered status, HSE qualifications or membership of a relevant Professional body
•Experience in a professional environmental engineering or consultancy capacity
•Oil & Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical experience
•A wide range of EIA and related permitting experience
•Computer modelling skills with relevant application software
