The Company:
An international supplier of process technology, engineered systems, products and technical services to the petroleum refining, gas processing, petrochemical and energy industries.

The Role:
Currently looking for an Aromatics Technology Specialist to join a global team. As a Principal / Senior Process Engineer - Aromatics Technology Specialist this is a challenging role, which involves providing technical service to support the startup and operation of our licensed and non-licensed technology to internal and external customers for Aromatics Technologies (Parex, Isomar, Tatoray and Sulfolane and associated fractionation).

As a Principal / Senior Process Engineer your main duties will involve:
• Evaluating commercial operations, through remote monitoring or on-site troubleshooting, to assist customers in achieving their goals.
• Provide technical support for new unit start-ups and turn-around support on catalyst and adsorbent changeout.
• Mentoring less experienced engineers and scientists.
• Development of yield estimates, assisting in preparation of Technical Proposals and participation in customer meetings to support catalyst and adsorbent reload opportunities.
• Providing support to Sales through customer visits, technical presentations, licensee symposia and papers.
• Participating in Engineering review meetings for new units and revamps including Design Basis, PFD, P&ID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, and others activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Principal / Senior Process Engineer you will have experience:
• A degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in providing Specialist Aromatics advice.
• Broad refinery experience, providing a good all-round knowledge of relevant technologies, their equipment and operations.
• Significant experience with Parex / Isomar / Tatoray / Sulfolane in a technical support or operations role.
• Ability to conduct physical inspections requiring physical climbing and crawling through & walking on pressure vessels, distillation columns, tanks, and piping is required.
