The Role:
Accountable to the Lead Technical Safety Engineer to provide technical expertise in Functional Safety, Process Safety and / or Construction Safety for offshore, brownfield modifications.

Provide robust and technically accurate reports, reviews and administrative tasks to cost and in a timely manner.

Provide technical direction in Functional Safety, Process Safety. Loss prevention and / or Construction Safety to enable delivery Technical Safety Reviews and Reports.

Assist with the development of the Technical Safety team structure to provide a scalable resource base to meet project demands across a range of platforms.

Develop and maintain the Technical Safety work plans as an integral element of overall project plans and ensure delivery against the plans.

Monitor Technical Safety discipline performance and develop discipline business improvement plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally degree or equivalent in an appropriate engineering or related subject. Candidates with an HNC/HND qualification and necessary experience will also be considered for the position.

Ideally 10 years Oil & Gas or equivalent in a design environment with an engineering contractor or operator.

Able to work within budgets and prepare accurate cost estimates.

Contribute towards the development of the team as a whole.

Review and sign-off Technical Safety Reports, Reviews and related documentation.

Attend at and contribute to meetings.

Able to travel offshore to UKNS installations.
