The Company:
Our Client is an independent Australian oil and gas company playing a key role in supplying energy to our region.

The Role:
Providing technical support and oversight ensuring capability in all aspects of sand-face and upper completion design and performance

Duties & Responsibilities
• Coaching and mentoring of completions and well services staff
• Providing technical authority review and approval of deviations to technical integrity for well design, execution and production
• Maintaining Completions and Well Integrity Standards & Processes.
• Leading the qualification and selection process to ensure the effectiveness of all completion components
• Developing and implementing new technology and innovation where appropriate.
• Coordinating a completions ‘community of practice’ identifying and sharing organisational and industry best practice.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills & Experience:

• An engineering degree with extensive oilfield experience with Drilling and Completions
• Proven experience in related disciplines such as petroleum engineering, subsurface, drilling engineering, production technology or subsea engineering
• Broad knowledge of subsea/platform well completions, workovers & intervention operations
• Working knowledge of process safety and well integrity through all phases of the well lifecycle
• Good communication skills enabling you to work with drilling and completion teams, business unit and venture partner representatives, regulatory bodies & contractors
• Detailed knowledge of tubular stress analysis, sand control types and their application, completion fluids and wellbore preparation, reservoir performance and flow assurance.
