The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
The key elements of the role are :

To proactively support the Project Controls Department and Manager by managing the Cost Engineering process and Cost Engineering personnel and their activities across the UK organisation.
Supervise and direct all activities of the Cost Control Function and the Cost Engineers.
Provide Cost Engineering expertise and assist all projects with their Cost Engineering activities.
Responsible for trending costs and informing the appropriate parties of changes to indicated final project costs using the management of change procedure.
Ability to interface directly with project teams and clients as required.
Responsible for the analysis and reporting of cost data associated with project status reports for project and client management.
Responsible for the preparation of project financial reports & payment applications/certification.
Responsible for the preparation of cost reports and performance curves.
Available to travel, as needed, in order to perform functions such as construction site inspection, information gathering, and / or client meetings.
Working with the Business Management System and Cost Control Tool
Managing the update and maintenance of the Project Assignment Authorisation (PAAF) process including labour rate updates.
Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance

To prepare cash flow calculations, profit analysis calculations and appropriate reviews.
To coordinate cost interfaces with other corporate groups and project teams.
Requirements Computer proficiency; thorough knowledge of cost control systems, procedures, techniques. Working knowledge of other project controls groups.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge of both engineering design & construction.
Graduate or HNC/OND or equivalent + substantial experience or proven relevant experience.

Degree Qualified
