The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
• Work for an international Oil & Gas company on their CSG assets
• FIFO roster to the Surat Basin (21/7 roster)
• Long term contract role for between 12 to 24 months

In this role, you will establish requirements for Gas / Water Trunk pipelines with internal and external stakeholders. You will coordinate the engineering and construction activities and liaise between the company and EPCm during the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.

You will interface between the company and EPCm project teams across Contracts & Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Land Access issues.

You will be responsible for:
• Coordinating the engineering and construction of trunklines and ensuring readiness for commissioning, handover and delivery
• Delivering trunklines against cost, schedule and performance agreements
• Contributing to the project and contract strategies, project execution plans, and management systems
• Managing project budgets and schedules for trunklines and the negotiation of prime contracts and agreements
• Implementing project, reporting and financial control systems
• Identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline, ideally in mechanical/piping engineering
• Record of delivering technical engineering and construction projects in the Oil & Gas industry
• Understanding of different disciplines, construction activities and the project development
• Knowledge of EPC or EPCm contracts and Australian Pipeline Standards
• Experience using software applications e.g. Excel, MS Project, @Risk, Primavera P6
• Able to apply appropriate technical standards to deliver technical and execution requirements

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience working for the Project Owner / Operator
• Chartered member of a relevant engineering institution or equivalent
