The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
A successful candidate is responsible for the maintenance and development of the acoustic facilities and test equipment. Also providing technical investigation and facilities operational support to all areas of the function.

Responsible for own work to enable completion of development testing and problem investigation for approval by senior engineer.

Ability to manage multiple project activities with changing priorities.

Reporting of analysis and conclusions from development testing and problem investigation to senior engineers and functional manager.

Maintenacne of/adherence to all relevant procedures, including health and safety regulation and ISO TS 16949.

Calibration of acoustic test equipment and facilities.

LMS Software administration support.

VSAC operation and associated test support.

Instrumentation and Noise and vibration measurements.

Support of facility and test acitivities.

Technical and financial support for new facilities and equipment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Formal Engineering qualification (degree preferred)

PC literate (MS Office)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience or knowledge of noise and vibration testing, vehicle instrumentation and basic measurement would be advantageous.

German language skills also advantageous but not essential.
