The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. Our Client has operations in over 130 countries and has more than 95,000 employees worldwide.

The Role:
The main challenge in this position is to ensure that SGP Commissioning is done according to company specification and that OPERCOM methodology and ICAPS are implemented consistently in different site activity with various interfacing between packages. The Job-holder will be required to anticipate or identify problem areas or potential areas of conflict (within company or between company and contractor); be able to communicate with different Teams and ensure effective liaison between all parties

Factory Acceptance Tests, Integrated FAT, Site Acceptance Tests:
•Review of all PC&C documentation, procedures, drawings, etc related to the equipment to be tested.
•Prepare the documents related to the tests to be carried out at Vendor premises or other location.
•During the FAT, as one of the Company Representatives, permanently act in a professional way under the Company Code of Conduct

Commissioning Execution
Quality target: Ensure that facilities are compliant with company specifications and project SOR, perform smooth hand over, no spurious shutdown or safety related issue during start up
Schedule target: Within approve Commissioning schedule
•Organise the witnessing of Pre-commissioning activities by his team.
•Manage SGP commissioning activities of his discipline and maintain good coordination for daily site activities with other parties; carefully managing the access to Control System to validate all testing.
•Assist the Contractor for Pre-commissioning and Commissioning dossiers management
•Socialize ICAPS software and Punch List management to all users
•Initiate and follow up clearance of Punch List, highlight technical problem encountered and provide technical expertise to speed up PL clearance.
•Create ICAPS Commissioning database for the Power Generators and Turbo Compressors and verify the Contractor Icaps database for SGP Precommissioning and commissioning of the plant. (all Items, Basic Function, Test Packs, Tasks, OT’s and PVP’s).
•Permanently follow-up the updating of the commissioning dossier for his discipline
•Approve the test records and verify updating on ICAPS database accordingly
•Ensure that the Commissioning Red Line Mark-up is done on relevant drawings and documents
•Permanently liaise with Start-up Team for Field Operations personnel participation to testing and witnessing of the activities
•Report immediately any unexpected event which may affect the commissioning activities
•Manage all interfaces of his trade towards subcontractors and vendors and SPS subproject Teams

Reporting and Progress Follow Up:
•Prepare and attend all meetings requiring the presence of the discipline leader
•Ensure a daily follow-up of the Progress of all activities of his discipline against planning and recommend any necessary corrective action.
•Participate in Daily and Weekly reports for the commissioning discipline

At all times the Job Holder will:
•Demonstrate personal commitment to SHE Policy, ensure that SHE Policy and Management System are adhered to and that safe working practices are carried out
•Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes
•Manage the Safety of all works to be performed by his team: Initiate work permit, provide hazards identification, propose risks mitigating measures, participate to risk assessment as required, ensure clear understanding of hazards and mitigating measures by team members before starting the job, monitor activities on site to ensure that work is performed as planned and that required precautions are implemented.
•Assess safety behaviour at work of his team members and provide improvement as deemed necessary: Socialization of procedures, understanding of hazards, training, Safety tool box to enhance safety awareness
•Have full authority to stop any unsafe situation and inform the Site Management accordingly
•Proactively carry out the activities of the job and be responsible for meeting agreed objective.
•Act in the best interest of Company at all time and adhere to the values and principles of Company Code of Conduct.
• Actively and openly identify best practices and encourage environment in which this is willingly and openly shared

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in commissioning within the Oil and Gas Industry with hand on experience in commissioning of MEG system, gas dehydration, gas plant utilities, and gas compression system. A good understanding on Nuovo Pignone gas compressor.
•Understanding of all aspects of oil and gas production operations with an established and proven track record as a Commissioning Engineer..
•Fully conversant with the OPERCOM specification & ICAPS database
•Must hold full driving licence that permits driving in the UK
•Must hold valid medical certificate which is acceptable to Company standards
