The Role:
The Client is undergoing enormous growth driven by major project wins with key customers in the Oil and Gas and MMM vertical markets. Due this growth we are seeking to appoint a Lead Advanced Process Controls Engineer to join our Perth team to provide technical consultation and information coordination services to one of our major clients.
You will have:
• Experience in Alumina/chemical processes and equipment.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems and Plant Logic.
• Act as technical interface with customers, establishing professional relationships to ensure that the project requirements are fully defined and agreed.
• Ensure that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum cost by allocating work assignments to project team.
• Monitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan, ensure effective change control and identifies risks / opportunities.
• Actively contribute in the pre-engineering phase of a project. Such as identify to the customer which information is required before project starts.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to project engineers, ensure that work assignments are executed to appropriate standards and quality systems (Implementation, Test & Documentation).
• Lead/perform the activities of client requirements analysing, specifying, designing, developing, testing, documenting, installing, and commissioning advanced control applications using Profit Controller/Optimizer, UniSim, DCS algorithms, and custom programs
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
To be successful in the is role you will need a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in designing and implementing multivariable model predicative control technology and online optimization such as Profit Controller/Optimizer, DMCPlus and EXASMOC.
