The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
• Understanding commitments and responsibilities under International and Australian standards

• Identifying key risks associated with onshore operation including HSE, business and reputational related risks and ensure associated mitigating actions are identified and managed

• Ensuring readiness of Process Control for Onshore Production facilities start-up

• Providing specialist engineering input to the development of Onshore operational strategies for process control and power management systems ensuring compliance with standards

• Establishing Control Room philosophies for support of Operator PMS, Production toolset and Advanced Process Control (APC) systems and applications

• Developing Operational strategies for the real time support of critical Digital Process Network infrastructure, including Control Rooms and Integrated Collaborative Environment rooms (ICE).


Prior to startup you will use your experience to provide technical and operational input during Detailed Design, Construction and Commissioning. In addition, you will be part of the development of key operations systems and processes. This may require you to be deployed to international design offices and construction yards or to assist operations readiness activities within the Perth office. When the project becomes Operational this role relocates to Darwin

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Solid experience in process control, with an Engineering Degree in either in Electrical or Process (Control) Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Computer Systems
• Hydrocarbopn project and operations experience
• Broad understanding of Downstream business processes and principles
• Conversant in Control Theory, Base Control applications, Advanced Control applications and/or Special control systems
• An Engineering Degree in either in Electrical or Process (Control) Engineering or Computer Systems
