The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
Our client has a requirement for an experienced process engineer to work on a contract basis
in Coventry, UK.

The role will consist of, but is not limited to;

-Planning, developing and implementation of all written Processes for a formed metal manufacturing and assembly process.
-New part introduction and change management.
-Establish and document process flow and associated steps.
-Feasibility of all designs to suit manufacturing build requirements.
-Planning, developing and implementation of all tooling and jigs and fixtures for manufacturing.
-Process Capability of all processes and equipment, including Dimensional Management applications.
-Application of Lean Manufacturing and Design principles.
-Quality Planning and Analysis for Manufacturing.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knows how to set up/implement manufacturing assembly processes
Document processes (work instructions/ operations sheets)
Skilled process/industrial engineering back ground.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Background in metal processing (presswork, roll forming etc.) would be advantageous but not vital.
Analyse problems in assembly processes and fix them.
Good practical problem solving skills.
