The Company:
Our client is one of the main market leaders in the Oil and Gas industry in Perth. The are currently at the pre-FEED/FEED stage of the new and exciting project.

The Role:
• To assist the Lead Process Engineer in design development for the Bonaparte FLNG Project, mainly for upstream process studies and interfaces with FLNG;
• To review process related documentation issued by vendors and contractors supporting studies so as to achieve quality and within schedule;
• Coordinate IPM (Integrated production Modelling) work across multiple disciplines in the project team.
• Perform flow assurance simulations and calculations to assist in reviewing work performed by others and to develop process basis of design;
• Coordinate process interfaces between upstream and FLNG;
• To participate in project engineering reviews related to process safety.

Pre-FEED / FEED studies:
• To review and validate process related deliverables from contractors produced during the Pre FEED and FEED;
• Contribute to basis of design, scope of work, schedule and deliverables related to process and interfaces aspects of Engineering Studies (Pre-FEED, FEED…);
• Review of process designs by Engineering contractor and other contractors or vendors, in particular Upstream Contractor(s) flow assurance work.
• Develop flow assurance strategy and operating guidelines for the project, with input from the Upstream Contractor.
• Coordinate IPM (Integrated production Modelling) work across multiple disciplines in the project team, in particular reservoir engineering, subsea engineering, flow assurance, drilling and economics. Review alternate upstream configurations and make recommendations on preferred arrangements, including subsea architecture, system capacities, operating pressures, line sizes etc.
• Assist in managing process interfaces between upstream and FLNG. Ensure all aspects including operating and design conditions, normal and start-up, shut-down conditions etc. are covered, including risk mitigation for unknown conditions. Ensure all Contractors and internal personnel are utilizing correct data assumptions.
• Assist development of Process design basis, interfaces and quality assurance of process discipline deliverables;
• Assist technical review and control of selected contractor engineering deliverables related to process and interfaces;
• Participate in project engineering reviews related to process and safety aspects (HAZID, HAZOP);
• Contribute to concept definition related deliverables to support project management decisions;
• Contribute to preparation of project peer reviews and participate to project presentation to the peers for process related topics to FID.
• Optionally, assist with FLNG gas treatment design review as required/available.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree in Process/Chemical Engineering.

• Engineer with 7-10 years experience in process engineering with sound technical background;
• Proficiency in IT tools;
• Good writing and presentation skills;
• Good communication skills and problem solving attitude;
• Ability to communicate with partners and external entities;
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
• Team player;
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing), knowledge of French language will be appreciated.
