The Company:
Our Client Operates Globally as an Oil and Gas Operator. This role is based in our clients project offices in London (West) and supports projects in Algeria.

The Role:
Note: The role is based in London (West) but also requires frequent travel to Algeria that may include weekends

Essential job functions include:
• Review and comment on design process engineering deliverables prepared earlier by the FEED Contractors for the Algerian Extraction Project.
• Review and approve work associated with Dynamic Process Modelling of the plant and provide oversight of the FEED contractors to update process simulation work as required.
• Undertake any necessary process engineering studies that may be required to support/confirm the designs proposed by the FEED Contractors.
• Provide oversight for pipeline design, routing and required tie-ins.
• Prepare a project execution plan, contracting strategy and deliver cost and schedule to support project sanction. Ensure compliance with the project design philosophies, specifications and Algerian as well as internationally recognised codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Attend and actively participate in the key design reviews such as HAZID and HAZOP.
• Report to the Facilities Engineering Manager and assist in the preparation of regular engineering progress reports for submittal to Partners.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education / Licenses / Language Requirements:
• Chartered Engineer (UK), Registered Professional Engineer (US) or equivalent
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Chemical Engineering from an accredited Engineering College or University

• Experience in Process Engineering for oil and gas production with experience specific to NGL extraction facilities, working either for an international Engineering Contractor and/or an Operating Company with significant experience in the development of P&IDs and associated process engineering deliverables.
• Must be competent in the use of process and pipeline steady state modelling software such as Hysys and Pipesim and prefer previous oil and gas processing experience in desert conditions.
• Preferable to have experience in dynamic modelling of process plant and transient modelling of multi-phase and liquid pipelines.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• French language an advantage
