The Role:
MAJOR DUTIES
The major duties include activities to (i) optimise performance against existing standards and to (ii) implement improvements to raise performance standards:
Support the site in delivering the improvement activities identified in the site SHE Roadmap, in particular completion of PHR and other PSM improvement actions.
Provide process technical support for the sites ISO 14001 accreditation programme, ISO 9001 Process Control Improvements and Trip and Alarm review.
Where necessary, provide process engineering input to the site Projects Team and more specifically to identify and generate the initial scope for plant improvements and to support process commissioning of new plant.
Support the Operation’s team to continually meet performance against targets. This will involve monitoring key plant performance indicators and advising the operations team when corrective action is required.
Provide reliable & efficient performance reporting and communications through shift / daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting systems & communication mechanisms.
Improve historical and real time performance reporting systems by competently developing and improving existing systems (using SCADA Wonderware, C++, Visual Basic and Excel).
Provide a link between Operations and the site testing laboratory. Provide technical input to enable consistent, reliable sampling and improved reporting systems for Operations.
