The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. Our Client has operations in over 130 countries and has more than 95,000 employees worldwide.

The Role:
The main challenge in this position is to implement the upgrade projects on live plants with no disruption to offshore operations and at St. Fergus. Additionally, ensure that the Project Team are working according to the Company rules and procedures and that the confidentiality of the information is maintained at the level required. The identification and adoption of best practices in engineering and project management is an important objective of the team, as is the development of strong and positive relationships with contractors

•Leadership, organisation and management of the studies and resources necessary to provide process support within PJ and company.
•Ensuring that project are designed in accordance with the approved “Statement of Requirements”, and Company General specifications.
•Ensuring legal compliance related to project activities
•Delivery and handover to Operations of relevant training and assistance during startup.

•Ensure Company HSE rules are respected and safe working practices are followed at all times.
•Ensure Company and company technical specifications related to Process Engineering and related disciplines are adopted by the Design contractors and validate during the design reviews,
•Provide technical support to the PJ Project Managers / Engineers as required.
•Review Contractors design deliverables and ensure Company are applied.
•Liaise with company Technical Authorities as required, and ensure any derogations (from Company) are documented and submitted for approval.
•Advise Project Manager(s) of any technical areas of concern, and ensure resolution of issues on a timely basis to enable safe Project delivery in accordance with agreed budget and schedule.
•Provide input to safety reviews and resolution of issues (e.g. HAZOP/SPOT/PTR).
•Resolve any issues raised by Verification Body related to Process Engineering.
•Assist in preparation of training materials for start up and handover to Ops.
•Assist in preparation of commissioning philosophies as appropriate.
•Supervise any specific studies related to Process Engineering awarded by Projects.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Professionally qualified engineer with relevant experience.
•Specialist knowledge in their own discipline together with a sound and demonstrable understanding of the other project disciplines required to support individual projects.
•Experience of effectively supporting managing projects that are high value, fast track and managing associated risks.
•Capability to effectively and safely participate in a project team of staff, contractors and vendors towards successful project outcomes.
•Ability to present process related issues status to partners, stakeholders, and authorities.
