The Company:
Our client is one of the world's leading engineering consultancies, with a workforce of more than 4,500 employees.

The Role:
• Ensuring that project are designed in accordance with the approved “Statement of Requirements” and Company General specifications.
• Ensuring legal compliance related to project activities.
• Delivery and handover to Operations of relevant training and assistance during start-up.
• Ensure Company HSE rules are respected and safe working practices are followed at all times.
• Ensure Company and technical specifications related to Process Engineering and related disciplines are adopted by the Design contractors and validate during the design reviews.
• Provide technical support to the Project Managers / Engineers as required.
• Review Contractors design deliverables and ensure company GS are applied.
• Advise Project Manager(s) of any technical areas of concern, and ensure resolution of issues on a timely basis to enable safe Project delivery in accordance with agreed budget and schedule.
• Provide input to safety reviews and resolution of issues (e.g. HAZOP/SPOT/PTR).
• Supervise any specific studies related to Process Engineering awarded by Projects.
• Provide specialist technical/engineering advise and support to onshore/offshore personnel.
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with corporate standards and SESR policies & procedures and industry regulations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified in chemical engineering
• Chartered engineer or equivalent
• Extensive experience in the execution of major offshore projects in upstream oil and gas
• 15 years industry experience
• Acted as the single point of technical contact for process engineering for projects.
• Experience of process design of subsea systems
• Experience of process design of gas conditioning and compression systems
• Experience of process design on floating production systems
• Experience of flow assurance in pipeline systems
• Led role in process engineering design assurance activities such as HAZOPs, approved closure of all associated actions
• Acted as a custodian of BoD
• Provided assurance of compliance with the relevant standards and specification and approved any deviation from these standards
• Experience of working with contractors in a client role
• Strong personal commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental performance
• Good communication skills with the ability to
