The Role:
Demonstrate a commitment to HSSE and show leadership to foster appropriate behaviors and ensure compliance with HSSE rules and policies.

Perform or supervise the performance of process engineering design for oil and gas production systems which are often part of an in-house engineering effort through front end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning and start-up, but also includes projects being executed by external contractors, in particular lease FPSO projects. Majority of time and effort will be supporting surface (topsides) facilities design, but also in conjunction with other disciplines ensuring the appropriate design of production systems from well to export destination including subsea production systems, chemical delivery, and export infrastructure.

A large part of the process engineering effort is focused on Process Safety and Asset Integrity and the candidate is expected to exercise strong technical skills and diligence in this area.

The team will typically comprise a mixture of eneers and in-house contract staff working in an integrated team. The candidate is also expected to be able to work with other disciplines and functions, and exercise appropriate coordination and influence to deliver successful production systems from well to export.

Provide process engineering input and oversight where projects are being executed by external contractors /operators, particularly with lease FPSO projects including those being executed under Engineering Framework Agreements (EFA).

Additionally, candidate is expected to be able to:

Perform typical detail process engineering calculations and analyses.

Guide others in the application of Process Engineering guidelines and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Network within globally to incorporate and share knowledge and best practices.

Work in a team environment and handle multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision

Maintain relationships with stakeholders (subsurface, flow assurance, production chemistry, discipline and project engineers, managers, counterparts in Asset operating unit) to ensure success of total project

Be familiar with, comply and enable others to comply with corporate standards and work processes.

Provide input to technical standards and guidelines when needed.

Coach and mentor less experienced staff.

Support discipline development and communication.

This position requires significant FPSO design and HAZOP experience.

MUST HAVE AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE U.S.
