The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
As the Process Engineer you will be accountable for the managing process engineering issues to ensure the operating asset is ready to take ownership of the facilities and have capability to operate the facilities safely and efficiently following handover from Projects. Providing process engineering support including ensuring compliance with established standards, provision of technical advice and management of critical drawings.

The Process Engineer will ensure all modifications follow the Management of Change process and provide timely action and closure of Engineering Change Requests. Defining scope of Shutdown and Major Maintenance activities you will also provide accurate and timely technical support to all project and operational teams.

Critical to this role is to ensure engineering compliance (e.g., statutory requirements, JV requirements, permits, legislative approvals) for the LNG plant; and participate in design reviews (including Hazops, SIL, RCM and RBI) during detailed design and pre-operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary chemical engineering qualification
• 8 to10 years experience in a process engineering role, in the operation & maintenance of LNG plant
• Experience in the development of engineering processes/procedures
• Experience with engineering systems, procedures particular Asset Integrity
• Understanding of compliance regulations – local and state authorities
• High level computing skills – Microsoft Office, and engineering programs i.e., Hysys
• High level of analytical and problem solving skills
• Sound knowledge of and commitment to asset integrity
• Ability to collaborate with other core business areas to provide an engineering service that ensures asset integrity and longevity of plant & equipment
