The Company:
is currently seeking a Process Engineer with a distinguished background to join their team.

The Role:
Process Engineer
- Provide specialist technical support for process engineering work in the PRLNG Upstream venture.
- Provide process engineering design input to BG projects and projects with JV partners during the early development & concept selection stages.

Responsibilities:
Provide process engineering input to the PRLNG upstream field development and gas processing plant across the gas chain.
- Oversee the process engineering element of contractor performance on conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design work.
- Lead or participate in PEER assists, PEER Reviews and Technical Assurance reviews to add value and ensure compliance with the BG Assurance Framework and approvals procedures.
- Assist in the development of best practice corporate guidelines, processes and procedures.
- Liaise with Development Managers, Subsurface professionals, Operations and Commercial Managers to support development opportunities and deliver optimized proposals.
- Identify opportunities for technology development and pursue with sources of expertise.
- Provide ad-hoc support to wider Venture Project Team.

Qualifications:
- BSc / MSc / MEng degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer.
- Extensive experience of process engineering in an exploration and production Facilities/Development Engineering environment, with experience in onshore and offshore oil and gas production and processing facilities.
- Experience of a client/operator environment and knowledge of breadth and depth of process engineering needed to enable quality control of contractor technical work, ensuring appropriate techniques and standards.
- Ability to perform process simulation and calculations to support their evaluations.
- Knowledge of fluid flow and flow assurance.
- Good understanding of E&P surface facilities (process through to operations) and an understanding of interface requirements with subsurface disciplines and commercial to enable incorporation of multi-discipline results into the process engineering element of development studies and FEED work.
- Overseas oil and gas experience useful.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, supported by inter-personal skills that support working at a senior level.
- Team player with a mindset to work with a global team and with diverse cultures.
- Ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with peers and partner representatives to influence decisions or ways of working.
- Ability to coach, mentor and share knowledge in both formal and informal settings.
- Excellent written and presentation skills with ability to explain technical matters to staff not conversant with the detailed technical area.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BSc /MSc /MEng degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline

- Operator experience
