The Role:
Primarily, this position will play a key role troubleshooting process-related equipment problems, providing technical engineering evaluations and solutions for a large compression and NGL processing facility south of Kenedy TX. The successful candidate will work closely with the operations, design and construction teams to insure process needs are met and solutions to process related problems are communicated for future design improvements.
This position also will provide process engineering support in the operations, expansion and optimization of well site and central production facilities, gathering systems and other infrastructure projects for the Eagle Ford asset.
Establishing good working relationships and rapport with engineer and construction teams, field operations, management and peers is critical to success. A demonstrated commitment to HES standards and policies is a must for the candidate filling this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works closely with field production supervisors and facility engineers to solve operations problems and determine ways to improve process safety and reliability. Runs HYSYS so that process performance design checks can be completed to maximize processing efficiency and system throughput.
• Understands the detailed workings of the compression and NGL processing facility as well as individual Eagle Ford central facilities and participates in efforts as required to increase efficiency and improve gas and liquid product value. Sets operating parameters to optimize processes and ensure control and instrumentation of the process systems are compatible.
• Performs engineering design support for field modification activities and reviews production facilities for upgrades and expansion. Assist with documentation of processes and procedures.
• Work could include performing and / or coordinating modeling, evaluations, specification preparation, commissioning and post start-up support to production operations.
• Provides and /or coordinates process support for the engineering design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of new facilities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Required, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent
Experience: 5+ years experience
Computer Skills: MS Office Suite; HYSIS process modeling experience or equivalent
General Knowledge: Knowledge of the onshore Oil and Gas Industry, process equipment and safety systems
Time Management: Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at one time is required.
Communication: Must possess excellent communication, teamwork, planning, and organizing skills.
HES: Must have the ability to recognize environmental and safety hazards in the field and communicate these to the proper personnel while instilling the proper HES focus in workforce.
