The Company:
A Major Oil and Gas Operator

The Role:
The Margin Improvement Engineer supports and coordinates key margin improvement tactics and projects critical to delivering business plan net cash margin at the Refinery.
The incumbent will be expected to provide engineering support and coordination for conceptual and detail design, execution and start up.
Develop margin improvement ideas and prioritizing efforts
Support margin improvement projects with refinery integration plan, project economic justification, and developing scope of work documents to support capital cost estimates
Provide support for conceptual design of margin projects
Identify best practices and implementing visual management of site margin improvement KPIs
Liaison between technical and business planning, and Process Engineering Projects
Identify and implement the refinery and company's margin tracking best practices
Represent the Margin Improvement Team at corporate and site reporting and engagement events
Support Margin Improvement Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required; MBA preferred
Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in refinery process engineering and Business development
Experience with engaging and communicating with Executive Level stakeholders
Experience in Implementing transformation in manufacturing environments a plus
Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to concisely communicate objectives and results to reach targeted goals
Experience, knowledge with refinery processes and economic drivers
Project experience preferred
Knowledge of project economic analysis
