The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
The primary function of this position is the provision of functional engineering support to the Facilities Engineering department in support of UK production operations. The Process Engineer is responsible for delivering design documentation and operational support as directed by the Lead discipline engineer and Facilities Engineering Manager.

The Process Engineer will report to the Lead Process Engineer within the Facilities Engineering department and will conduct technical reviews, assess proposed changes and provide technical support across the business as required

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
DESCRIBE THE MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES OF THE JOB. INCLUDE THOSE THAT ARE KEY TO THE JOB REGARDLESS OF THE AMOUNT OF TIME ALLOCATED.

•Ensure engineering design deliverables are delivered in line with safety, production, environmental and financial objectives as directed by the Lead Engineer.
•Input into Planning and Budget processes.
•Review of Engineering Contractor deliverables.
•Develop and manage internal and external relationships.
•Attend regular meetings and communicate progress of engineering work to Lead Engineer.
•Identify and deliver cost effective and technically sound solutions to help provide improved safety, asset performance and reliability.
•If requested, represent our client at meetings with joint venture partners, industry forums and government bodies.
•Ensure continuous personal development.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous Process Engineering experience within Engineering and/or Maintenance functions
• Working knowledge of Engineering Codes and Standards
• Proven track record of identifying and developing sound and innovative technical solutions
• Effective communicator at all levels
