The Role:
Typical Process work products include:
-Determine optimum Process Design given fluid composition requirements
-Develop Block Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and P&IDs
-Perform Pump hydraulic analysis
-Provide design definition for Oil, Water, Gas Separators
-Provide Process data for NGL and Gas Residue recovery via refrigeration, cryo, JT, etc.
-Provide Process data for Heat Exchanger, Gas Dehydration, and Gas Compression design
-Perform Fluid Hydraulics Analysis
-Review Amine systems
-Provide Process data for equipment and instrument datasheets
-Provide technical bid evaluation
-Specify PSV Design
-Design Relief Header design
-Develop HYSYS models and use for process / hydraulic studies
-As required, supports field walkdowns, construction and commissioning, as built documentation

Typical Instrumentation work products include:
-Technical Specifications
-Support HAZOP/PHA, as required to develop safety shut down systems and Cause & Effects Matrices
-Application of hazardous area classification requirements
-Design Control System Network Architecture
-Design of industrial data networks and busses including fiber optic networks
-Control Panel Design
-Instrument selection and sizing
-Instrument Datasheets
-Support procurement of I&C items including defining vendor data requirements, technical bid evaluations and review of vendor documentation
-Create Loop sheets, interconnect drawings
-Design Control Schematics
-Instrument cable selection, sizing, terminations, routing and application requirements of tray and or conduit design
-Design, development and testing of configuration and programming of smart instruments, motor controls, analyzers, RTU’s, PLC’s and DCS’s

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer / Instrumentation Engineer
-BS Chemical Engineering preferred, will consider BS Electrical Engineering (Instrumentation Specialty) or BS Mechanical Engineering depending on experience
-Additional skills include Instrumentation & Controls or Automation
-Experience to include engineering design, for the Oil and Gas industry specifically natural gas compressor stations and treating facilities
-EIT Certification with ability to obtain PE
-Experience with SmartPlant Instrumentation
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Willing to travel up to 15%
-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
