The Company:
Our client has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and the North Sea Continental Shelf since 1964. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, gas is produced from 22 platforms and 3 subsea production installations. Most of the platforms are unmanned and remotely operated; four have gas treatment facilities.

The Role:
The Senior Process Engineer Oil& Water:
- Provides process engineering expertise for TEPNL offshore gas production facilities: 4 Treatment Centres with separation, dehydration, compression and liquid treatment, 17 offshore satellites with separation and water treatment facilities and 2 subsea facilities. The average gas production from these installations during 2009 was 15 MNm3/d.
- Ensures the execution of 50 MSRs (Modification & Study Request) per year with a total value of 4M€ - 8M€/year.
- Is responsible for co-ordination of 2 engineering jobs per year executed with the assistance of an external Consultant.

This results in the following tasks (not limited to):
- Responsible for the process engineering of all modifications on existing facilities
- Conducts general or specific studies in the field of E&P installation start-up, operation, OPEX, HSE and recommend remedial actions for improvement and / or de-
bottlenecking
- Conduct process and dynamic simulations and process facilities, flow assurance, controls
- Provide input to design of safety systems, custodian of HIPS definition, SSS logics and control settings.
- Performs studies to optimise production, propose process optimisations for long term plan, and Environmental plan.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Qualification: MSc chemical engineering, or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 10 years within the Petroleum industry
- Excellent knowledge of safety engineering.
