The Role:
To provide process engineering design to support several projects.

Key Accountabilities
•Contribute toward the continued improvement of the HSSE performance of the Trinidad and Tobago Asset. •Process Engineering design of new systems and/or the evaluation of process engineering design executed by third party design firms •Ensure compliance to all the client's and international standards in all assigned projects •Actively participate in hazard operability studies, process hazard analyses and P&ID reviews with regards to new equipment and systems. •Interpret specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to new process systems, platform design changes and modifications •Management of assigned projects including feasibility studies, Pre-FEED, FEED and detailed engineering throughout the project life cycle •Participate in the evaluation of contractor bids for the supply of goods or services to the client. •Prepare and maintain documentation for assigned projects. •Participate in the development of operating and maintenance procedures for new equipment and continual review of existing procedures for continuous improvement. •Provide technical troubleshooting assistance to the operating personnel •Coordinate project progress to ensure the schedule is being maintained and propose corrective actions in the event of potential schedule overrun •Contribute to project peer assists, peer reviews and technical assurance reviews to progress the project and ensure compliance with the projects and approvals procedures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Technical professional with proven experience in engineering disciplines and with delivery of projects•Experience in the petrochemical industry (preferably oil and gas)•Understanding of the management of change process•Understanding of gas processing facility daily operations•An understanding of discipline interfaces and the project development and delivery process that are needed to enable quality control of contractor technical work and ensure appropriate techniques and standards are applied and improvement opportunities are realised•Knowledge and experience in Health, Safety, Security and Environment Management System to ensure daily workplace safety and technical safety integrity in projects•Experience with interfacing between drilling operations, production operations and projects is desirable•A BSc. degree in Chemical/Process Engineering•Comprehensive understanding of process engineering principles and their applications

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•An appreciation of the other relevant engineering disciplines, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation•Understanding of the principles and applications of process safety with respect to design and management of change•Must be computer literate and possess a comprehensive understanding of the MS Office Suite, root cause analysis and process simulation software•Strong analytical and problem solving abilities•Good team player with a pro-active and flexible attitude, and able to work in a multi-cultural environment•Strong communicator (written and presentation)•Reasonable fluency with local culture / traditions of site location.
