The Company:
Our Client is an independent Australian oil and gas company with a global presence playing a key role in supplying energy to our region.

They are one of the world’s leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role:
Perform resolution of major integrity / production upsets (strong discipline technical ability)
• Perform detailed engineering upon request from Maintenance Engineering (Surveillance Engineers and System Engineers)
• Perform complex, multi-discipline investigations (TapRoot, RCA etc.) of reliability and integrity events and recommend actions to System Engineers
• Perform Assess / Select / Develop for Simple Technical Changes (STC) for execution by Maintenance or Projects (<$1m)
• Perform facility focal point role for Brownfield changes greater than STC
• Perform coordination of delivery of engineering studies: HAZOP, SIL, alarm studies, TSR, FAIR etc and feed back into strategies
• Perform support to execution of facility shutdowns upon request
• Perform backfill to Maintenance Engineering teams upon request
• Perform work in compliance with all statutory, contractual and WMS obligations
• Perform work in a manner consistent with values and behaviours defined by the Corporation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Track record of delivering activities in a multi discipline team environment
• Producing complex technical assessments within a strict cost & scheduled environment
• Ideally around 3-5 years experience with strong evidence of working in a producing onshore environment
• Ability to perform and delver results in an autonomous environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills at all stakeholder levels across a production & engineering function
• Ability to influence business decision making
• Able to provide and take on board constructive feedback
