The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company responsible for the Construction, Ownership and Operation of it's own Plants.

The Role:
Responsible for the overall performance of the Process Engineering Division specifically in the areas of operational analysis, process improvements, optimization, maintenance of process standards and specifications, development of specialized process engineering expertise, and intellectual property oversight.

1.Perform operational analysis to identify, evaluate and initiate opportunities to improve asset utilization, yield, uptime, material balance, catalyst performance and other factors that contribute to asset capability.
2.Provide Process support to plant start up (initial and any subsequent start up after a trip).
3.Ensure proper assignment and delivery of projects and feasibility studies according to business requirements and resource capabilities.
4.Participate in the planning and development of short-term and long-term functional goals consistent with organizational needs and objectives.
5.Manage technology and tools related to process simulation, energy and off-line process optimization, material balance and catalyst performance.
6.Design and maintain process flow, and piping & instrument diagrams.
7.Contribute and ensure compliance to defined standards and specifications by coordinating with parent company or licensors for any changes or updates.
8.Maintain required oversight on our companies intellectual property.
9.Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Managerial Responsibilities:

1.Direct and manage respective Divisions in performing their roles, responsibilities and delegated tasks.
2.Conduct performance evaluation reviews for direct reports, identify and ensure they acquire the required managerial or functional skills and knowledge.
3.Provide input in setting the Department’s annual budget, in accordance with the Function’s strategic goals and objectives and manage to stay within approved budget.
4.Detect needed and additional skills or individuals in order to meet and exceed the set of objectives.
5.Create a productive and healthy work environment within the Department, and foster high attention to details and efficient knowledge transfer among employees.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering
•M.S. or PhD in Chemical Engineering or other advanced engineering degree is desirable
•Experience with different technologies, plant support and large multicultural projects a plus
