The Company:
Our Client is the largest LNG producing company in the world, with an annual LNG production capacity of 42 million tonnes per annum (MTA), safely and reliably delivering LNG to customers around the globe from world-class facilities in Qatar.

The Role:
Our Client requires 4 x Process Engineers to work residentially in Qatar on a major petrochemicals complex project.

The complex will contain the following 8 licensed processing units:

• light naphtha isomerization unit
• heavy naphtha continuous catalyst regeneration unit
• aromatics extraction unit
• paraxylene separation unit
• xylene Isomerization unit
• transalkylation unit
• pressure swing absorber
• LPG Saturation unit

The scope also includes ISBL utilities, OSBL utilities, interconnecting pipelines, two gasoline blending systems, new intermediate & final product storage tanks, vapor recovery systems on aromatics tanks, a receiving and loading facility for the gasoline, jetty mods, tie-ins, lab, flare, caustic receipt facilities, possibly spent caustic treatment.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Process Engineer 1 - Process engineer with operating experience (technical support role) with both isomerization unit and CCR (Continuous Catalytic Reforming )unit. Operational or FEED/EPC project related experience acceptable, combination of both will be ideal.

Process Engineer 2 - Aromatics (paraxylene separation, xylene isomerization, transalkylation unit, aromatics extraction) unit experience. Operational or FEED/EPC project related experience acceptable, combination of both will be ideal.

Process Engineer 3 - Receiving and loading, tankage and truck loading terminals, interconnecting pipework experience. Doesn’t have to be necessarily be refinery experience. Combination of operational and project related experience desirable. Experience with gasoline blending also desirable but not essential.

Process Engineer 4 - Utilities experience. Combination of operational and project related experience desirable. Doesn’t have to necessarily be refinery experience.
