The Company:
My client is an international provider of facilities solutions to the oil & gas production and processing industries. As part of continual expansion they are actively looking to recruit a Process / Facilities Engineer to ensure the asset and project discipline engineering activities are executed within budget and schedule, whilst maintaining technical integrity.

The Role:
Key Duties
• Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, regulations and procedures.
• Concept design for proposals;
• Due diligence reviews for FPSO purchases;
• Oversight of FEED and EPC contractors process and facilities design;
• Support to Asset Management Team for operational technical queries and brown field modifications;
• Identify process and facilities requirements and scope of work; review Basis of Design, philosophies, specifications, Datasheets and other relevant documents. Identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal/contract to Technical Director. Support discipline input into regular Project reporting.
• Supervise the work done by engineering subcontractors, equipment suppliers and shipyards
• Undertake specific tasks/area of work as defined by the Technical Director, including: Preparing Specifications and Philosophies, Studies, Heat & Material Balances, PFDs & UFDs, PEDs, Process Systems including P&IDs, Flow Assurance, Relief and Flare Design, Process Datasheet & HAZOP Close Out
• Perform quick and early evaluations of topsides suitability based on limited information and short inspection visits.
• Support the Technical Director with Technical Bid Evaluations. Review vendor documentation and comment to ensure design conformance
• Capable of leading teams and taking on additional responsibilities when required

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
• Good knowledge of separation, compression, heat exchange, gas injection, water injection, F&G, ESD issues of all types of floating production unit
• Working knowledge of marine engineering, electrical and naval architecture disciplines and their interfaces with process/topsides discipline
• Good knowledge of applicable marine and floating productions regulations – especially pressure vessels, process, piping etc
• Broad experience and knowledge of process and facilities engineering for FPSOs

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Educational Background
• Minimum 5 years offshore industry experience with at least 2 years with FPSO contractor or process/topsides engineering firm engaged in floating production activities
• Must have worked on at least one floating production vessel project from concept to completion
• Degree in chemical engineering or other relevant discipline
