Process engineers take overall responsibility for the process and process control functionality for projects in the oil, gas and (petro-) chemical industry.
The process group is a dynamic team in which technology, process design and leadership skills are combined to effectively support our clients. In addition to a solid education focusing on process design and/or process control, a strong set of personal competencies is a prerequisite for a successful process engineer
During conceptual engineering the process engineers develop the process configuration that best supports the client’s business case for Upstream projects. During the following design and engineering phases the process design is further developed and the process engineers ensure that the required functionality is maintained throughout the project.
Towards project completion, the process engineers are involved in testing and start-up of the facility; either in a leading role or supporting the client.

Senior engineers actively support the business development process by supporting our clients with their definition of new projects and by preparing competitive proposals. Lead Engineers may lead groups of a few engineers up to 30 engineers, depending on the size of the project

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requirements
• BS in Chemical Engineering. PhD is preferred
• Minimum 8-15 years of polyolefin manufacturing plant experience preferred.
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a Supervisory role
• Strong technical skills with ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
• Self-starter who works well in cross functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
• Competent in communicating in the English language both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team, liaising directly with client and other project team members

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred Skills:
• Previous plant experience in polyolefin manufacturing, preferably in Spheripol or Unipol polypropylene technology.
• Strong technical background and abilities.
• Experience in construction/installation and commissioning of plant.
• Experience in operation of plant
• Experience of budget management and financial performance Good working knowledge of different contract types and procurement options
