The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
SCOPE: Assists PSM Engineer, NSOD Facility & Process Safety Engineering Supervisor, and Facility Engineers with gathering technical data, literature and documentation research, preparation and maintenance of filing systems, and data management to support Company PSM systems. Must be able to prioritize workload, work independently, handle multiple tasks and use own initiative to meet deadlines.

Deliverables:
Primary Functions / Responsibilities:
•Support process safety initiatives
•Maintain process safety key performance indicators (KPIs)
•Research (e.g., communicate with facility engineers) and document status update of PHA findings in the PHA Support HSE goals
•database application
•Help facility engineers gather information to address “documentation” findings from PHA revalidations
•Gather documentation for PHA revalidations, including current version P&IDs, highlighted P&IDs, recent MOCs, and recent incidents
•Manage the PHA revalidation cycle for all nodes to ensure compliance with 5-year recur requirement for PSM facilities
•Identify options for improving our method of highlighting P&IDs for PHA revalidations
•Participate in the MOC improvement initiative (e.g., developing training materials for new processes)
•Train operators and engineers in the MOC process and procedure
•Help facility engineers gather information to close old MOCs
•Support the MOC process
•Other duties as may be assigned

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education / Experience
•Company Alaska experience preferred
•North Slope experience preferred
•Good communication and people skills required
