The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil and gas operator and has operations though out the world.

The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, the Process Technical Authority will be part of the Engineering Team, which is responsible for reviewing technical work done by the contractor(s) and providing technical guidance and assurance for Upstream Projects.

• Provide process engineering technical guidance and assurance for the projects and review and advise on the deliverables from the engineering Contractor.
• Contribute to all Design documents including Statement of Requirements, Basis of Design and Engineering Design Philosophies.
• Work with the Engineering Contractor during the full life cycle of the project to provide technical integrity assurance.
• Work as a key contributor during risk assessments as well as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and PHSSER studies.
• Provide support during construction to ensure all site technical queries, non-conformances, concession requests are properly resolved.
• Evaluate any requests for deviations or exemptions to the specifications and standards.
• Take the lead in addressing process design issues with consideration of quality, cost and schedule.
• Determine all possible risks to delivery and have risk mitigation plans in place.
• Ensure engineering quality in the discipline and advise on any training requirements and mentoring to develop junior engineers.
• Provide technical input to risk assessments, Management of Change reviews, and project reviews.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or the equivalent UK degree.
• Chartered or Professional Engineer.
• Experience of using management of change processes.
• Process Simulation Modelling Experience.
