The Company:
Our client is a leading operator with oil and gas projects in multiple locations across Africa and Europe. Due to continued growth and to enable the support of operations we are now looking to appoint a Procurement Administrator to be based in Ethiopia

The Role:
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following key activity and responsibility:

• Support the execution of all elements of Procurement operations to ensure that transactions are undertaken correctly and accurately – e.g. documentation flow, control and archiving
• Support audits of procurement operations activities
• Support the Business in meeting its objectives through the timely execution and processing of administrative duties
• Support C&P Buyer, Contract Advisors, SC Manager and Category Managers through the sourcing process
• Respond to business unit and supplier queries and support issue resolution
• Maintains SCM Document Management Systems (electronic and hard copy) in accordance with Company standards
• Work closely with the contract advisors in the rest of C&P to provide support to ensure full compliance with the RTP processes
• Ensure all contracts are filed appropriately (hardcopies and electronic)
• Provide support to the requisitions as required, to increase the ease of creating requisitions and answer queries relating to the progress of the procurement process
• Demonstrates continuous efforts to work co-operatively and jointly to provide a quality and seamless customer service
• Maintain supplier database(s)
• Perform periodic document audits
• SAP / Maximo systems Super User to support both contract advisors and business users

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We are therefore keen to receive applications from candidates with the following key skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role with either an oil and gas or industrial company
• Degree in a commercial, business or engineering related field
• CIPS or equivelant qualification would be advantageous
• Solid understanding of the RTP process
• Computer literate and fully conversant with the Microsoft suite of applications
• Experience with Maximo/SAP is an advantage
• Able to travel on occasions as required to various BU locations
