The Company:
Our client, an international major oil and gas operator, seeks a Procurement Advisor to join their team.

The Role:
• Support the coordination and efforts of the downstream contractor related Procurements/Materials.
• Assist in oversight of the EPC-Re Contractor Procurement Activities including monitoring/oversight of International Industry Participation processes and reporting Assist Sr. PPA in coordination and reporting of commitments/data with PGPA in the international Business Unit.
• Assist in estimate and scheduling activities specific to Value of Work Earned against the EPC schedule.
• Assist in review of VOWE to support Finance and Audit Schedules. Engage with Engineering, Construction and Operations for input on AVL and other procurement strategies to assure alignment with AIP plans and strategies.
• Support the PPA in execution of QA/QC project requirements for Phase 4 Execution.
• Assist with Tax and legal issues as they relate to procurement including, but not limited to importation of goods, custom requirements, duties, VAT, AIP, etc. Capture and share Procurement Related Lessons Learned.
• Position requires full time presence in EPC Contractor’s offices in Houston, Texas. No travel associated with position.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree Mandatory
At least two (2) to four (4) years experience with procurement as a Buyer/Expeditor with related experience in the EPC industry.
Familiar with industry and company standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Knowledge and experience with company software applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and MS Office.
Knowledge of Company's accounting programs including SAP and Ariba.
Current CSOC certification.
Effectively work as member of multi-functional Asset Team.
Strong interpersonal skills within a multi-cultural team environment.
