The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
As we develop the Social Infrastructure portfolio of works we require the services of a Procurement Advisor to assist with the Procurement activities and provide advice to the Infrastructure Delivery Team. In particular the role supports the DOMGAS pipeline Project but the services may extend to any other Infrastructure Contract as required. Coordinating purchasing activities for the Company • Product sourcing • Identifying and implementing Purchase Orders • Supplier and vendor contract coordination, negotiation and management • Management of the documentation for all purchasing approvals • Purchase order documentation, completion and management • Equipment documentation and user manual management • Responsible for all purchasing functions as required by the project team. • Adhere to CVX business standards • Review actioning of Purchase Requisitions/Service activities in line with requirements detailed on the Production Schedules • Accesses supplier capability, evaluates/reports on supplier performance. • Preparing invitations to tender for suppliers, supplying tender documents, specifications, drawings etc to facilitate formal quotation by the Supplier • Receiving and evaluating formal Supplier quotations leading to and recommendation of establish the preferred supplier. Leads bid analysis team as needed. • Negotiating purchase conditions prior to contract award • Negotiating purchase conditions/price/delivery terms etc with preferred supplier prior to order placement • Interfaces with Technical teams to ensure technical and quality compliance. • Liaison with Suppliers including obtaining status reports etc and feeding back progress information to the Master Scheduler/Manufacturing Planning/Engineer and project team. • Reconciliation/approval of Supplier invoices against the Purchase Order tracking • Maintain auditable purchasing records/documentation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: BS preferred or equivalent experience BSc (UK) and Procurement / Purchasing Qualifications preferred
Experience: 5+ Years actual Oil & Gas Major Capital Project Experience
Preferred Skills: • Good communicator at all levels, strong organisational capability, team player, computer literate with Microsoft suite of products • 5+ Years actual Oil & Gas Major Capital Project Experience • Procurement experience in a MCP
Certification: Good knowledge of capital equipment, certification and spares
Additional Comments: Position duration is 12 months, located in Perth, working 9 hour days
