The Role:

Their Customer Service Centre in Newcastle pools knowledge and expertise across the Group, whilst increasing standardisation, realising efficiency savings and generating substantial revenues through delivering shared services to internal and external customers.
As a Procurement Analyst, your job will be to review past, present and future spend and inventory data across BT and other telco supplier voice and data platforms within the business, utilising the full range of spend analytics tools at your disposal, including BT Analyst Converge toolkit.
You will need to map out and approach the stakeholders within multiple functions in the business in order to build a clear picture of the data, and as such strong stake holder skills are required.

With this data you will help identify and deliver future savings opportunities based on past spend and usage data, possessing a high level of commercial savvy to support the incorporation and delivery of an inventory optimisation plan into a central programme team.
Most importantly, you will be required to reconcile supplier charges against actual consumption protecting our client's financial position.
An ability to network with and influence internal and supply partner stakeholders will be key to the position in what is a focussed and cost driven environment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Procurement Analyst, Finance Analyst or Data Analyst experience, ideally with knowledge in procurement and/ or telephony management process.
• Proven capacity to manipulate, analyse and manage complex data streams from multiple sources
• Practical knowledge of BT Analyst Converge tool and BT OneBill data and analytics
• Commercial savvy with the ability to identify further savings opportunities in the business.
• Ability to make customer orientated decisions
• Knowledge of contract management and supplier management
• Experience in using Oracle or a similar ERP software tool would be an advantage.
• Experience in working in conjunction with technical, operational and project teams
• Experience of working collaboratively with suppliers to secure timely, accurate and complete management information
• Capacity to manage complexity and multiple priorities
• Experience of working effectively within a multiple and autonomous business unit environment
• Ideally degree qualified
