The Company:
Our client is a large independent oil and gas company focused on helping meet the world’s energy needs.

The Role:
A working supervisor providing the procurement of materials and assets needed, and logistics coordination to ensure support of the Alaska operations to achieve both corporate and asset area overall objectives. Included in the duties is the daily direct leadership for the onsite material coordinator staff in addition to daily interaction with other operational groups on the project.
Direct activities required in obtaining and maintaining key items/materials to ensure correct balances on hand.
Manage shipments into/out of warehouse and direct logistical transfer of items/materials needed on-site.
Represent supply chain role interaction and interface with other field functional groups (operations, drilling, safety, facilities engineering, environmental, etc).
Tracks/logs materials in Enterprise Asset Management system. Provide ongoing direction pertaining to maintaining inventory accuracy for all materials. Performs regularly-scheduled audits of materials.
Provide support to non-field personnel as requested (accounting, environmental, safety, engineering, administrative, etc)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least 6 years technical buying and/or materials management experience required.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment both as a leader and as team player.
Must have good communication and analytical skills.
