The Role:
In collaboration with the Supply Chain Coordinator:

To source and purchase materials and services in the most efficient and cost effective method in accordance with company procedures.

To source and purchase materials and services by using companies electronic SAP purchasing systems

To ensure that a full audit trail is maintained for all procurement transactions. This includes maintaining accurate filing systems of all purchasing documents.

To review service requirements and decide as to whether they should be routed for commercial assessment in accordance with relevant procedures.

To progress and expedite outstanding orders in conjunction with the user to achieve agreed delivery dates and ensure that outstanding commitments are accurately reflected on the electronic purchasing system (SAP).

Facilitate resolution of invoice queries with Account Payable/Supplier.

To develop and provide statistical reports and measurements.

To analyse data and prepare synthetic reports on various subjects as required by Manager.

To develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Supply Chain Systems (SAP, CMS) and procedures.

To effectively maintain SAP ERP and CMS by processing new vendor request, updating existing vendor details when required, uploading contracts, purchase orders and service masters

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*Only UK residents and persons with rights to work in the UK will be considered for the position*

University degree with related initial working experience
Ability to:
- Using electronic purchasing systems within a team
- Understanding procurement practice and principles
- Managing data bases and extracting meaningful syntheses and reports

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Microsoft Office; SAP ERP; CMS.
Good communication skills; Attention to detail; Customer focused; Team Player.
