The Company:
Our client; a leading Oil & Gas organisation currently requires a Procurement Co-ordinator due to an increase in workflow.

The Role:
The role will involve;

• Administer the Logistics and Subsea Department procurement and invoicing requirements to ensure compliance with procurement policy and relevant sourcing strategies.
• Create Purchase Requisitions and coordinate with Buyers for creation of Purchase Orders for the Logistics and Subsea Departments in line with TAQA Supply Chain Policy
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders (onshore and offshore) to resolve any technical / purchasing issues
• Manage invoice blocks ensuring required back up and approvals are in place, co-ordinate returns or credit notes, liaising with the other members of Logistics and Subsea, Supply Chain and Finance as required
• Ensure Vendor receipt of issued Purchase Orders
• Monitor Purchase Requisitions to ensure contracts are being fully utilised
• Assist Buyer with close out of Purchase Orders in purchasing system
• Provide input into screening and selection of vendors for the sourcing of materials and services as required
• Liaison across the business to ensure timely prioritisation and placement of Purchase Orders, ensuring urgent requirements are met
• Ensure Purchasing process follows fully auditable trail, attaching all relevant documentation / correspondence to purchasing records in system
• Monitor supply signals cooperating with the internal customer by expediting vendor confirmations and deliveries, managing requirement changes, and managing any eventual inability of a vendor to meet requirements
• Maintain local data base of contracts from the strategic sourcing team when required
• Generate and complete reporting as appropriate on an ongoing basis, coordinating with management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you should have a minimum of 18 months experience in a similiar position within the oil & gas industry.
