The Role:
12 month requirement primarily based at Manchester, with a requirement to work at Dimlington as the project progresses and very occasional travel (if any) to Great Yarmouth.

Working with an exsisiting Procurement practices and representative of a major client. The Procurement Co-ordinator will be required to act as Procurement interface across the range of activities that are required to deliver both the pre-sanction and post-sanction Procurement (Bidding & Buying). Expediting and Inspection. The Project relies heavily on an integrated working arrangement between 2 client.

The Procurement Co-ordinator will also be an additional resource to the client day-day Works, as well as an oversight role for the Project Manager /team and interfacing with both the Hessle (Contracts Team) and the wider client team

The Procurement Co-ordinators reporting line will be direct to the clients Project Manager. In conjunction with the Contracts Manager be the custodian of the overall Project Procurement Strategy.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an enhancement and integration of Commercial expertise into the current working arrangement.

The role will require the successful candidate to:
Continuous development and execution of the Project Supply Chain Strategy, development and successful running of the Supply Chain Function, approvals, policies, procedures, compliance and reporting.
Overseeing all Supply Chain Function disciplines, including procurement, subcontracts, expediting, quality control/inspection and materials management and logistics.

Integration of Successful systems implementation to meet the clients requirements.

Ensure compliance requirements and relevant international and domestic law.

Lead all aspects of FEED & Detailed Design bid document preparation, pre-qualification, tendering and contract execution and management.

Provide the primary interface with the various legal and contract groups to finalize contract documents.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years Experience in a similar role with a track record of successful delivery
Experience as a Supply Chain Manager for an oil and gas or contracting company for a major offshore oil & gas capital project
Proven Experience in running a Supply Chain Function in an exemplar fashion
Experience of coping with difficult situations and resolving these successfully.
