The Company:
Our Client is a global leading Oil & Gas Operating Company

The Role:
Candidates must be dynamic self starters who work collaboratively and are results oriented. Responsibilities include developing and executing commercial strategies and regional sourcing solutions associated with our client's upstream spend for goods and services, preparing proposals based on value generation, analyzing and preparing commercial business cases, negotiating with suppliers and the administration of transactions.

• Optimize spend for goods and services utilized by the Resource Play based on the analysis of value to the organization.
• Collaborate with the local supply chain to develop and execute spend strategies based on technical requirements, HES compliance, market intelligence and commercial opportunities.
• Evaluate commercial arrangements and resolve issues arising from commercial activities.
• Responsible to keep GP Supply Chain Management abreast on direction of projects and to ensure collaboration with team members.
• Experience with cross functional teams, as well as established familiarity with the contract management, project management, negotiation, and economic analysis process.
• Develop aggressive work goals that are strategic in nature.
• Must be a dynamic self starter who works collaboratively, is results oriented, and driven by continuous improvement and learning.

Some domestic travel to field locations is expected

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree: Bachelors Required
Major: Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance or Engineering
Computer Proficiencies: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. SAP
would be a plus.

A procurement/technical background in oilfield operations, ability to complete analysis of commercial agreements, gather and analyze spend data as well as familiarity with contracts and commercial terms, ability to draft solid contractual agreements, project management and economic analysis is required.
