The Company:
Our Client is a large international Operating Company leading the development of a major oilfield in southern Iraq.

The Role:
Our leading client is currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator to be based in Dubai on a residential basis.

- Executes procurement activities for Capital Projects, EW, EPC & Commissioning Works and facilitates procurement activities for Capital Projects, EW, EPC & Commissioning Works for Project teams based on work programs in strict adherence to the requirements, local and asset regulation.
- Actions to prevent and eliminate any violations requirements, local and asset regulation.
- Participates in Technical part of tender evaluation.
- Documents activities of teams to evaluate proposals submitted by bidders.
- Executes verification of purchase requisitions and optimizing procurement approach if needed.
- Applies optimum approach in development of evaluation criteria and subsequent evaluation of suppliers based on the analysis of the Company's activities and best international experience.

- Provides functional support in the process of investment definition on issues related to procurement procedures for Capital Projects, EW, EPC & Commissioning Works
- Provides procurement functional support on issues related to procurement procedures for Capital Projects, EW, EPC & Commissioning Works.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
– Higher education in commercial, technical or legal discipline (oil and gas specialization is preferable)
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in execution of procurement activities.
– Working knowledge of full procurement cycle for all procurement practices relating to EPC & Commissioning
– Good analytical skills relating to evaluation of tenders associated with complex EPC & Commissioning contracts.
– Strong negotiation skills, Ability to work under pressure, Ability to meet tight deadlines, Ability of cross-cultural communication, Ability to maintain progress on a number of tasks.
– Knowledge of best international practices in procurement.
– Ability to work and influence at all levels within the organization

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
– Microsoft Office, SAP (preferable).
