The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Position requires an experienced Procurement Expeditor who is conversant with procurement requirements on a large major capital project preferably with a Korean EPC Contractor. • Ensuring readiness and completeness for vendor data, operations and maintenance manuals, IM&IT requirements, preservation & storage (including documentation), spare parts data collection for operational spare parts. • Participates as a member of the Wheatstone Upstream Wheatstone Contracts, Procurement and Supply Chain (CP&SC) Team supporting the EPC Contractor and associated project functions. Works at the direction of the Site Project Procurement Advisor and with the asset teams to execute the Wheatstone Procurement Plan and to assist EPC Contractor in identifying materials management risks and develop associated mitigation plans for each. • Specific responsibility is to provide Owner team assistance to the Upstream EPC Contractor in Okpo, Republic of Korea for procurement expediting that supports the Wheatstone Platform. Oversees and provides assistance to the EPC contractor to ensure materials and equipment are expedited, inspected, status tracked/reported and safely transported to the Contractor’s fabrication yard in Okpo, Republic of Korea in accordance with the project schedule and contractual requirements. Utilizes major capital project experience and business acumen and networks to manage EPC Contractor and supplier performance while providing expediting support to asset teams on critical packages and engaging with executive sponsors as required. • Monitors EPC schedules, submittals, deliveries related to materials and equipment. Keeps Project Team informed and works with the team on strategies to correct problems. Provides reports to the project team on expediting activities and status. • Ensures project close-out activities are completed: e.g., procurement files, vendor documentation, surplus disposition, back charges, supplier performance, etc • Provides support to EPCI Contractor in fostering good Supplier relationships aimed at keeping focus and attention to Wheatstone materials and equipment orders. • Participates with the Project team and Capital Project Procurement in identifying and applying procurement lessons learned and best practices.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors
Experience: 10+
Preferred Skills: The right candidate will have good leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively with the EPC Contractor while holding them accountable and credibility with senior level peers. A demonstrated team player with visible Chevron Way Behaviours is a must.
Additional Comments: Position duration is 12 months, located in Perth, working 9 hour days. CWW.
