The Role:
Title Procurement Manager
Location Based: Navanakorn
Reporting to: Regional Procurement Manager

Job Accountability:
The incumbent is responsible for a team of Procurement Buyer(s) to ensure the best in class procurement performance across all categories of spend. He/she is responsible for the continuous business process improvement within the Procurement organization, Procurement representative on key cross-functional project teams to drive overall business processes changes. The responsible scopes are both direct and indirect procurements.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes purchasing and procurement strategies, plans, programs and systems, both short and long range, to ensure achievement of division objectives.
• Responsible for evaluating and managing suppliers in accordance to sourcing strategies.
• Creates and manages initiatives to achieve departmental vision.
• Manages, motivates, and develops subordinates.
• Develop individual performance goals and measurement systems to ensure achievement of goals.
• Defines and implements plans to achieve departmental goals. Drives others to achieve department goals.
• Defines procurement strategy within assigned area. Use internal and external market insight and apply appropriate procurement tactics to provide competitive advantages.
• Maintains familiarity and compliance with all Company policies and procedures, procurement regulations, as well as evaluates and enforces internal purchasing policies and procedures for the Company.
• Establish and maintain excellent rapport with internal and external customers.
• Implement and maintain Vendor/Team Reports and Team Key Performance Indicators
• Resolve problems related to vendor and procurement performance and propose long-term solutions
• Has the ability to identify trends from data and use that information to recommend/implement cost or efficiency savings opportunities.
• Prepare annual procurement budget.
• Ensure alignment with the regional Procurement and Category Managers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering , Industrial, Chemical or related
• At least 5 years of experiences in both direct and indirect purchasing and/or supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills
• Negotiation skills
• Computer Literacy in Ms. Program with excellence in Excel, Access and ERP systems
• Leadership
• Strategic thinking
• Team management
• Communication proficiency in both Thai and English (written and verbal)
• Ability to travel to Rayong province
