The Company:
Major LNG Facility

The Role:
The Project Procurement Agent will report to the Project Procurement & Logistics Lead and will be responsible for providing support for purchasing activities in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This person will administer competitive bid events including RFIs, RFOs, and RFPs, and ultimately negotiate terms and conditions to award the winning bidder. The Project Procurement Agent will support the Project by collaborating with various internal teams to analyze issues, identify purchasing solutions, and execute purchase documents.

This position will be located in Hackberry, Louisiana. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) will be required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Supports the execution of sourcing initiatives such as RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs by preparing bid documents, evaluating proposals and presenting award recommendations to internal clients and senior management
* Reviews and assist in the development of purchasing-related documentation (e.g. bid documents, tabulations, requisitions, electronic procurement, product specifications, statements of work, etc.) and perform cost and price analysis
* Structure, draft and negotiate procurement contracts, including purchase orders, services agreements, construction agreements, and software licensing agreements for the purpose of resolving purchasing issues including: schedule, pricing, terms and conditions, and claims and resolutions
* Maintains purchasing information, files and records (e.g. Requests for Proposal, purchase orders, vender files, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies
* Ensure insurance compliance by communicating non-compliance issues with internal clients and external vendors
* Resolve disputes, negotiate modifications, terminations, and contract closeout
* Participates and maintains meeting minutes in kick-off meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc. for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
* Responds to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of providing information, direction and/or appropriate referrals.
* Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications: (Degree / Certification / License / Experience)
Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent and at minimum five years of contracts, purchasing, procurement, or related supply chain experience; or, graduation from a four-year college or university with major in business, or a closely related field and at minimum three years of contracts, purchasing, procurement, or related supply chain experience

* 3+ years of contracting or procurement experience
* Experience in consulting with internal business clients and external suppliers
* Experience in project management and execution, preferred

* Ability to uphold self to strict ethical standards: integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality
* Ability to interpret and negotiate legal terms and conditions and work closely with Legal Counsel when necessary
* Computer skills should include proficiency in SAP and MS Office including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
