The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking a Procurement Specialist with a deep understanding of the Process and Procedures. Required for a PSCM team within the oil and gas industry. The role requires the successful candidate to work collaboratively with the deployed PSCM team leads and engineering and construction specialists supporting major projects. Key responsibilities are outlined below:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for ensuring delivery of all equipment and materials by the agreed ROS dates for their designated packages, supporting the Category Lead and Procurement Team Leader.

• Responsible for packages as designated by the Category Lead and as such is a member of the POMT

• Responsible and accountable for issue or input to all relevant Project documentation for designated packages. RFI, RFP, BEP, RFA, PO, SVI, CO as directed by Category Lead.

• Responsible to lead and minute all Bid Clarification meetings for designated packages as directed by Category Lead.

• Responsibility to attend all Kick Off/Pre Production Meetings for designated packages as directed by category lead.

• Inputs to and accountable for designated packages to weekly delivery area review meetings (PSR) through but not limited to:
- Status and Progress.
- Identifies and agrees actions for critical issues.
- Establishes status on engineering deliverables.

• Interfaces with Procurement Coordinator to follow up on delivery / schedule issues through to resolution.

• Interfaces with EPMS Contractor? on outstanding Engineering issues that are impacting schedule.

• Identifies key issues to Category Lead based on interface with Procurement Coordinator and EPMS Contractor.

• Provides input to the weekly Key Issues slides through Category Lead.

• Liaises with the Category Leads for Engineered Equipment and Materials to:
- identify area delivery priorities.
- resolve any priority issues between delivery areas.
- monitor package progress against ROS dates.
- ensure there are no issues impacting progress.

• Inputs to weekly PSR and ESR reviews with Procurement and Engineering for their designated area, with full support from Materials and Planning for the updates.

• Identifies priorities with Category Leads and Logistics to ensure equipment and materials shipments are scheduled in line with sites ROS dates.

• Maintains accurate cost control within change register.

• Monitor and reviews “close out” performance of site raised “OSDQ” and “M&EDR’s” by Category Leads and POMT.

• Prepares controls and manages Hotshot register.

• Liaises with PSCM Planning in respect of Site ROS dates.

• Interfaces with other Caspian Project teams, including site construction teams and prime contractors where necessary, on matters that affect their delivery area.

• Highlights vendor data priorities to Category Leads and Expediting.

• Provides input into Project Risk and Knowledge Management development.

• Reviews key documents, to ensure understanding of process.

• Responsible for leading and recording Kick Off and Progress meetings as directed by Category Lead.

• Inputs to and responsible for designated package close out.

• Interface between material control, doc control, cost group and accounts payable.

• Complete vendor ACDD compliance checks and co-ordinate responses from Strategy Team/CET/POMT as applicable.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education:
 Technical or Business degree
 PSCM certification (MCIPS or equivalent)

Experience:
 Deep competency in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
 Oil and Gas industry PSCM experience
 In Depth Knowledge of procuring Mechanical Equipment
