The Role:
Procurement Specialist

Implements eProcurement Business Processes and Procedures:

• Leads the implementation and change management activities relating to new or modified eProcurement process and system functionality in the ABU and MCP. Processes cover Sourcing, Contract Award and Management and Operational Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Works with eProcurement Team Lead, ABU and MCP stakeholders to develop, document and implement eProcurement processes and procedures.
• Conducts reviews of existing procurement practices, policies and procedures.
• Identifies differences in current business processes with eProcurement System features and functionality.
• Identifies and shares best practices across ABU, Gorgon, Wheatstone and other global business units.
• Ensures all system functionality covering Sourcing, Contract Management and Operational Procurement are properly configured in accordance with the documented business processes and procedures.
• Engages system users on appropriate business practices, desired behaviors, and system usage.
• Documents business requirements and designs solutions to meet objectives.
• Analyzes wider Supply Chain business processes and systems to determine impact on eProcurement processes and systems.

eProcurement Training and Support:

• Develops training materials and delivers structured classroom and workshop training programs in accordance with documented policies, processes and procedures.
• Identifies and develops eProcurement Subject Matter Experts who reside within ABU and MCPs.
• Provides system support and guidance to system users on system functionality and usage.
• Mentors other eProcurement team members, as required.
• Works with other eProcurement specialist to develop and maintain eProcurement Computer Based Training.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

• Works with Contracts, Procurement, IS and eProcurement stakeholders to establish eProcurement system performance and usage monitoring targets. Work with stakeholders to develop maintain and communicate ABU eProcurement scorecard metrics.
• Works with stakeholders develop standard eProcurement dashboards and Analysis Reports based on customer requirements.

Communication with Global Upstream and Corporate eProcurement:

• Represents ABU in Technical Governance Team meetings as required
• Leads submission, evaluation and recommendation of change requests on behalf of the ABU
