The Company:
Our client is located in the Houston, Texas - Galleria area

The Role:
Team Lead – one working team lead estimated 9 -12 month duration

Needs to be versed in all of the above requirements, and have extensive Project Management experience, SAP experience, and solid business acumen.

• Exploration and Production, or Midstream contracts experience for fast track projects, such as flowline installations, battery installations, site access, well pad construction, etc.
• Ensure 'best value ' achieved by competitive tendering, effective negotiation and contract structure, including a working knowledge of contracting strategies, and associated risk, including:
o Time and material contracting
o Unit rate contracting
o Lump sum contracting
• Working knowledge of call off processes utilizing the above mentioned contracting strategies as the base agreement that lead to improved lead time performance for the sourcing and contracting process
• Ability to work in cross functional teams to develop evaluation templates that lead to, and support, selection and award
• Executes, or oversees the contract execution and administration process to ensure that it is being performed in accordance with contractual requirements and meets key performance metrics.
• Facilitate and resolve issues related to the contracts with the Project teams and leadership.
• Reviews and interprets contract Terms and Conditions to resolve key issues.
• Prepares and issues contracts and orders as required using company process and SAP.
• Proactively investigates opportunities for improvements in the Projects Team scope that will result in value add.
• Use negotiation skills to consistently resolve disputes.
• Attends job progress meetings as required.
• Ensures suppliers understand expectations of the Operation.
• Align contractual, commercial and risk guidelines and approval policies to ensure effective governance.
• Maintain an accurate contract register reflecting all relevant Project contracts' status including performance data.
• Accurately quantify, classify and record Supply savings.
