The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Design the pricing strategies by analyzing customers’ needs, production costs and competitor offerings in order to optimize the prices of Sadara’s products.
1. Coordinate with marketing division to develop a clear understanding of the segmentation and targeting strategy of Sadara.
2. Consolidate marketing and sales strategies with the implemented pricing packages to ensure a homogeneous product offering.
3. Assist Product Manager with the development of new strategies to maximise product margins.
4. Allocate, direct and delegate various activities and tasks to other pricing analysts to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
5. Compile performance report for the pricing strategies, along with a broad market price analysis report.
6. Run various simulation models to test the validity and efficiency of the proposed pricing strategies.
7. Run regression models to investigate and analyse variable correlations between pricing factors and consumer preferences.
8. Regulate the flow of information between production, planning, marketing and sales in order to align efforts.
9. Ensure all pricing strategies adhere to Sadara’s regulations and ethical code of conduct.
10. Perform any pricing job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.
• Prior experience in the petrochemical industry.
