The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Providing project management support within a Product Line organisation.
Responsible for detail project timing.
Responsible for driving project progress through module and functional timing reviews.
Manage actions to support pilot hall activity and pre-series build including parts timing and supplier liaison.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
Establish detail timing plans with modules and functions
Monitor and report through module and functional timing reviews
Drive project progress through identification of critical path actions and follow-up with functions and modules to ensure actions are met.
Project Support
Manage team meetings-agenda and minute management, follow-up actions with responsible parties, deputise for the Project Manager.
Develop actions with key managers to assist with the resolution of critical issues project across the company and resolve issues.
Support Product Line Manager/Project Manager as necessary to drive the project through gateways and achieve project milestones.
Pilot Hall Activity
Plan and allocate project tasks to meet gateways and Pre SOP series build requirements.
Plan then support and manage actions with functions, modules, and suppliers to ensure DMU/Meisterbuck/ VFF/ PVS/ OS build is achieved and consolidate learnings.
Module Support
Support the Module Leaders with project deliverables through module meetings and S Team support.
Management of delivery within the project phase.
Deputises for Project Manager where appropriate.

Minimum HND, preferably Degree or equivalent in Engineering/Numerate/Technical Discipline.

Skills & Experience
Demonstrable experience in vehicle project management.
Proven experience of project planning and delivery in Programme Technical role or Programme management Role within an OEM.
Good communication skills.
Confidence and ability to work within a cross functional team.
Extensive knowledge of All associated systems and processes linked to product development.
Well developed excel and power point skills.
